GB Auto raises Chery prices a second time in a week, by EGP 15,000 to 25,000

GB Auto issued a new Chery price list with increases of EGP 15,000 to 25,000, the second in a week. It also raised Hyundai Elantra AD, Venue and Tucson prices, and launched Mazda 2027 models at higher prices.
GB Auto, Chery's local agent in Egypt, announced a new price list for several Chery models this October. The increases range from EGP 15,000 to 25,000. It is the second increase in a week.
Chery
- Arizo 5 2027: up EGP 15,000 on all three trims. Basic is now EGP 705,000 (was 690,000). CVT Basic is EGP 750,000 (was 735,000). CVT Comfort is EGP 790,000 (was 775,000).
- Tiggo 7 Pro 2027: the biggest rise, EGP 25,000 on both trims. Comfort is EGP 1,115,000 (was 1,090,000). Luxury is EGP 1,215,000 (was 1,190,000).
- Tiggo 8 2027: up EGP 20,000 on three trims. The seven-seat Comfort is EGP 1,200,000 (was 1,180,000).
- Tiggo 9 PHEV 2026: up EGP 20,000 to EGP 2,120,000 (was 2,100,000).
Arizo 6 GT, Arizo 8, Tiggo 4 Pro, Tiggo 7 Pro Max and Tiggo 8 Pro Max also went up.
Some prices did not change. Tiggo 7 FL 2027 stays at EGP 1,010,000 and EGP 1,080,000. Tiggo 8 Pro 2026 stays at EGP 1,375,000 for Luxury and EGP 1,475,000 for Flagship. The electric EQ7 is EGP 1,599,000.
Hyundai
GB Auto raised the locally assembled Elantra AD 2027 Facelift a second time, by EGP 15,000 again. The first trim now starts at EGP 1,050,000 (was 1,035,000). The fourth trim is EGP 1,265,000 (was 1,250,000).
The locally assembled Venue also rose a second time, by EGP 20,000. The first trim is EGP 890,000 (was 870,000). The second is EGP 965,000 (was 945,000).
Tucson prices went up by EGP 50,000.
Mazda
GB Auto launched the 2027 Mazda range with a rise of EGP 20,000. The CX-3 is EGP 1,355,000 (was 1,335,000). The Mazda 3 first trim is EGP 1,610,000 (was 1,590,000), and the second is EGP 1,620,000 (was 1,600,000).
