EIT approves Kia price increases of 25 to 50 thousand pounds on 7 cars

Kia's exclusive Egypt agent approved increases of between 25 and 50 thousand pounds on 7 new cars on Tuesday. The 2027 Seltos, the cheapest Kia in Egypt, was not included. It starts at 1,370,000 pounds.
The Egyptian International Trade and Agencies Company (EIT), Kia's exclusive local agent in Egypt, approved price increases on Tuesday. The increases ranged between 25 and 50 thousand pounds on 7 new cars.
The increases did not include the 2027 Kia Seltos, the cheapest car the brand sells in Egypt.
Seltos 2027 prices
The Seltos comes in 3 trims:
- EX: 1,370,000 pounds
- HL-Turbo: about 1,525,000 pounds
- TL-Turbo: 1,675,000 pounds
Engines
The EX has a 1.5 liter petrol engine with 115 hp and 145 Nm of torque. It comes with an IVT gearbox and front-wheel drive.
The two higher trims have a 1.4 liter turbo engine with 140 hp and 247 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch DCT gearbox.
Size
The car is 4.345 m long, 1.8 m wide and 1.62 m high. The wheelbase is 2.63 m, ground clearance is 190 mm and the fuel tank holds 50 liters.
EX equipment
The EX has an 8-inch infotainment screen, a digital instrument cluster, cruise control, single-zone automatic air conditioning, an electronic handbrake, Auto Hold and 16-inch sport alloy wheels.
For safety it has ABS, EBD, tire pressure monitoring, hill-start assist and 2 airbags.
