Al Mansour Automotive, the exclusive local agent for Chevrolet in Egypt, raised the price of the Optra 2027 family sedan by EGP 20,000 in October.
The new prices
According to the agent's latest published list, the locally assembled Optra now costs:
- First trim: EGP 785,000, up from EGP 765,000.
- Second, higher trim: EGP 810,000, up from EGP 790,000.
Engine and gearbox
The Optra is assembled at the company's plants in 6th of October City. It has a 1.5 liter four-cylinder engine with 98 hp and 140 Nm of torque. The gearbox is an 8-speed automatic CVT.
Size
The car is 4,490 mm long, 1,695 mm wide and 1,490 mm high, with a 2,550 mm wheelbase. Boot space is 475 to 910 liters.
Equipment
- Safety: front airbags, ABS, EBD, ESC, rear parking sensors, a rear camera and tire pressure monitoring (TPMS).
- Exterior: rear fog lamps, electric mirrors, 15-inch wheels and LED daytime running lights.
