Karim Abu El Fadl, regional general manager of Jameel Motors, said the company is celebrating the opening of the new showroom in Egypt. He said the coming period will see 5 new GAC models in the Egyptian market. They aim to meet the needs of different groups and reach new customer segments.
Distributors
Abu El Fadl said the company doubled its authorised distributors. They rose from 9 in 2025 to 18 main distributors in 2026. Their networks cover more than 30 sales outlets across the country. He added that sales so far are close to double the 2025 figure.
The next showroom
The new showroom is a model for the main showrooms the company plans to open. The next one is due in Sheikh Zayed soon.
Jameel Motors in Egypt
Hassan El Alami, executive director of Jameel Motors, said the company is celebrating the official opening of the new headquarters of GAC in Cairo. He said Jameel is a global distributor for more than 20 brands in more than 15 countries, GAC among them. He also said the company has been in Egypt for more than 20 years, and that Egypt is one of the most important strategic markets in the region.
Local assembly
The deal is a partnership between Ejja and Jameel Motors.
Saleh said assembling GAC cars locally will widen local supply chains and raise the share of local components used in manufacturing. He said it will also open new chances for Egyptian talent in the car sector.
