First electric GLC trim launched in Egypt with range of up to 715 km

Mercedes-Benz Egypt announced the launch of the fully electric GLC, a new generation of luxury electric SUVs in the Egyptian market.
The GLC 400 4MATIC is the first trim of this model to be launched locally. It has all-wheel drive with two electric motors, one on the front axle and one on the rear.
Performance and range
- Maximum power: 489 hp, with torque of up to 800 Nm.
- 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds.
- Top speed: 210 km/h.
- Battery: 94 kWh usable capacity.
- Electric range: up to 715 km on the WLTP cycle.
Charging
DC charging reaches a maximum of 330 kW. The battery can go from 10% to 80% in 22 minutes under the specified fast-charging conditions. Up to 305 km of range can be added in 10 minutes, according to WLTP tests.
Design
The fully electric GLC is the first Mercedes-Benz series-production car with the company's new design identity. Its illuminated grille has 942 independent moving light points, with a lit Mercedes-Benz star at the centre.
The AMG Line exterior package and AMG bodystyling add a sporty look. The car has 20-inch AMG alloy wheels, flush door handles and aluminium-look side sills.

Boot capacity is between 570 and 1,740 litres. There is also an extra front storage compartment of 128 litres.
Driver assistance
The standard package includes DISTRONIC distance assist and a parking assistant. The extended optional package adds more driving and parking functions, including a 360-degree camera system.
With this launch, Mercedes-Benz Egypt continues to expand its electric range in the Egyptian market.
