Asking prices set by sellers on Hatgebk, not a valuation.

How should you compare used sedans for sale in Egypt? Line up cars of a similar model year and mileage first, then read their asking prices side by side. Ask about the exact version before deciding which cars to see.

The brands and gearboxes you’ll come across

BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Chevrolet are the most listed sedan brands, in that order. The cars are spread across many models, with no single model dominating. Most listings are for older model years, and the large majority are automatic. Petrol also accounts for the large majority. If you have a particular year or gearbox in mind, check it in each listing before getting drawn into a price comparison.

Give the rear seats and boot a proper look

At the viewing, sit in the rear with the front seat adjusted to your driving position. Try getting in and out, and check that the doors close properly. Open the boot yourself: look beneath the floor covering for dampness and ask about any marks or repairs you notice. Bring the luggage you expect to carry and try loading it. Ask for an independent inspection before agreeing to buy; use the visit to write down anything you want the inspector to examine.
