What the S09 is
The Deepal S09 is a full-size family crossover with 6 seats. It was designed, developed and built in China, and it uses a REEV system. Production started in China in 2025. It is the biggest and most luxurious Deepal in the world. It sits on Changan's EPA1 platform, the same one the brand's other cars use.

Globally, the car has a 1500 cc four-cylinder turbo engine that works as a generator for electricity. It comes with a 40.18 kWh battery and a 50-liter fuel tank.
The rear-wheel-drive version has one electric motor on the rear axle. The all-wheel-drive version has two electric motors.
