Engine and performance
The car uses a 1.4-litre TSI engine with 150 horsepower, paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
Average fuel consumption is about 5.5 litres per 100 km. Top speed is 223 km/h. The car goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.7 seconds.
Size
The Octavia is 4.689 metres long, 1.829 metres wide and 1.470 metres tall. The wheelbase is 2.686 metres. Boot space is 600 litres and ground clearance is 143 mm.
Equipment
The cabin has a 10-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, an 8-speaker sound system and a wireless phone charger.
The top Suite trim adds electric front seats with memory and massage, and cognac leather upholstery.
Lounge and Suite come with LED Matrix headlights and 17-inch sport wheels. The equipment also includes rain and light sensors.
Safety and driver assistance include electronic stability control (ESC), an electric parking brake (EPB) and hill-start assist. The car also has tyre pressure monitoring, a rear camera, and front and rear parking sensors.
It also has three-zone Climatronic air conditioning, which sets temperatures separately for different areas of the cabin.
