Price cuts were few and linked to offers
Qasrawy Group, the JAC distributor, announced an EGP 95,000 price cut for the JAC JS8 Pro as part of a limited-time offer: the Limited trim was EGP 1,150,000 instead of EGP 1,245,000, according to Masrawy. So there was a price cut, but it applied to a specific model for a limited time.

What does this mean if you’re buying now?
- Don’t base your decision on prices falling: October saw far more increases than cuts, and the cut we found was a limited-time offer on a single model.
- Don’t rush either: the average increase was 1.9%, so you don’t have to buy today to avoid it.
- Get the price in writing: a trim’s price can change twice in a month, so ask for the price and delivery date to be written into the booking contract.
Our view: if you find the right car at the distributor’s price, buy it, and don’t put off the decision for months waiting for the price to fall. See our guide to the best car under 1 million EGP.
About these figures
These figures cover the official price increases we recorded where a previous price was known, rather than the whole market, so treat them as a minimum. This is our first month with enough data, so we don’t yet have a comparison with previous months.
